HAIR TRANSPLANT INFORMATION

BioMedic hair transplants work best for patients who have significant hair loss and problems stemming from past hair transplant or scalp reduction surgeries.

Surgical hair loss restoration is an art form that relies heavily on the surgeon’s artistic ability. We are now able to take many patients from start to finish in just one day.

Choose from two methods.
The FUSE Method

BioMedic hair transplants use the “follicular unit separation extraction” or “FUSE” method. There are no scalpels, stitches or sedation; there is virtually no damage or scarring to the source area.

With this process:

Hairs are removed one at a time.
The hair can be taken from any part of the body that produces hair.
Specially trained doctors use high power magnification and specialized microsurgical instruments.
The follicle is lifted out; this is an exacting, time-consuming process that requires great skill. Up to 600 micro-grafts (containing approximately 1,200 hairs) can be performed again within four to seven days.
These micro-incisions heal in 24 to 48 hours, so …

The FUSE method is not readily available across the U.S. because it’s a painstaking process that requires extensive skill, time and effort.

The Incisional Strip Method

In this procedure the hair comes from the back and lower part of the scalp. Hair transplants are completed in much less time than the FUSE method, but you will have tiny scars in the donor areas.
