IN-HOME LASER TREATMENT INFORMATION

Previously you had to go to a clinic or salon for laser therapy; now you have a choice. You can purchase your own laser for use in the privacy of your home.

Your usage will depend on the intensity of the laser you choose. Suggested treatments can vary from 20 to 30 minutes once a day to as little as three times a week. Most users watch TV, read, or work at their desks while using BioMedic home units.

It began in 1967. Shortly after lasers were invented, Dr. Endre Mester of Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary decided to see if laser radiation would cause cancer in mice.

He shaved two groups of mice; he gave one of the groups laser treatment with a low powered ruby laser. They did not get cancer; in fact - to his surprise – the shaved areas grew back more quickly and 40% longer than the hair of the untreated group.

Obviously, there have been extensive advances in laser technologies in the past 40+ years. Studies now prove that the light of a low level laser will repair scalp tissues by stimulating blood circulation, thereby encouraging regeneration of normal healthy tissues.
